Setting Up a Client Who Pays In Full Every Visit

How to set the values in the Client Setup layout and the Client Session layout for a client who pays in full for every session at the time of the visit, and who does not use insurance.

Navigate to the Client Setup tab. (1) Enter your full session fee in the Client Session Fee/Co-pay field. Leave the Insurance Session Charge and Insurance Share Expected blank.

The Client Session Fee/Co-pay should be your full session fee if the client is not using insurance. Leaving the Insurance Session Charge blank suppresses the creation of charges in the client's insurance account (you can re-create the insurance charges later, if necessary).

(2) Enter the session fee in the Default Client Payment field. (3) Select the Default Payment Type.

The Default Client Payment should match the Client Session Fee/Co-pay if the client is paying in full for each session at the time of the visit.

Navigate to the Client Sessions tab. (4) Check both the "Auto-create Charge" and "Auto-create Payment" options.

Checking these options will direct TheraQuick to automatically create a charge and a payment each time you enter a session for the client, using the default values you entered under Client Setup. You can always override these on the fly, if necessary.
